That’s why we created FirstSkilled, a dynamic afterschool program designed to introduce students to career pathways in skilled trades, technology, and entrepreneurship — all while developing essential life skills, teamwork, and leadership.
Whether students are exploring construction careers, tech pathways, or entrepreneurial ventures, FirstSkilled helps them discover their strengths, build practical skills, and develop the confidence to succeed in both school and life.

Hands-On Learning with Purpose
FirstSkilled isn’t just about sitting in a classroom — students build, design, and create through project-based learning. From building Lego models to simulate construction projects to coding simple programs that showcase emerging technologies, FirstSkilled blends creativity with practical skill-building. At the core of FirstSkilled is PreCore, our foundational curriculum that blends:
Math & Measurements Mastery (applied numeracy, geometry, and spatial awareness).
Practical Wisdom & Social Ethics (PWSE) (decision-making, ethical reasoning, and teamwork).
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) (confidence, resilience, and communication skills).
